The 10th Asia Pacific Conference on Clinical Nutrition (APCCN 2017) was successfully held from 26th - 29th Nov 2017 in Adelaide, Australia. The theme of APCCN 2017 was “Nutrition Solutions for a Changing World”. A total of 535 participants from 21 countries or regions took part in this conference. A total of 524 abstracts were submitted to the conference.
Prof Duo Li, the president of Asia Pacific Clinical Nutrition Society (APCNS), presided the opening and closing ceremony of APCCN 2017. Professor Li made an opening speech, and invited Senator Ms Susan Russell to perform welcome to country and Governor of South Australia His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le made an address to guests. The APCCN 2017 included 21 plenary lectures, 165 oral presentations and 252 posters, referring to cardiovascular nutrition, diabetes, obesity, nutrition and disease mechanisms, gut health and microbiota, nutrition and physical performance, nutrition in genomics, sustainability, micronutrients and health, nutrition and aging, and paediatrics.
At the end of the conference, 2016 and 2017 APCNS Awardees Prof Tee E Siong and Prof Anura V Kurpad presented plenary lectures, respectively.
